We are now preparing for the Royle Winter Concert on Wednesday, December 12 at 10 a.m. in the Common Room. The Orchestra, Band and Minstrels will be performing joyous musical selections for friends and family.
The Orchestra is working on four songs for this performance. Students have already learned Yankee Doodle and Can-Can. They should continue working on these two pieces, focusing on the more difficult areas. The students are also working on A Holly Jolly Christmas.
Each student has been given a Practice Journal. I am encouraging everyone to practice at least 70 minutes each week. Those students who do will receive a certificate and prize at the end of the week.
