As a continuing string player, your child will be promoted to the Royle Orchestra next year. Fourth and fifth grade string players continue to take in-school lessons, but also participate in an afterschool rehearsal with all other string players. Orchestra rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 3 to 4 p.m. The Orchestra will give three concerts next year and learn many different styles of music.
Students also have the opportunity to start a new string instrument, including the bass*.
